Behaviour of children appalling

For many weeks the elderly residents living on Brookfields estate in Weston Rhyn, near Oswestry, have been troubled by a large number of disrespectful and unruly youngsters aged from about six to 15 who are completely out of control.

They roam the estate using abusive language and act in a threatening manner.

Some of them enter residents' gardens and have caused a tremendous amount of damage.

Two of them have actually been spotted on the roof of a bungalow very late at night and several have been caught urinating in the gardens. Vehicles have been vandalised.

I am confident that this ridiculous behaviour will eventually be stamped out by the police but in the meantime I suggest that all parents in Weston Rhyn ensure that their youngsters are not the culprits.

Many elderly and sick people are at the end of their tether but despite everything Brookfields residents do not seek retribution. All they want is to be left in peace.
