Love is the way
I find it sad that people cannot get along with one another (and I include myself in this). Regardless of what faith we are of (or not of), we always end up fighting. Perhaps it is the lack of contentment that drives us on the search to "better ourselves", not realising that someone is going to get hurt along the way.

Some may be killed, others maimed, left hungry, homeless, destitute or some may opt to escape life's tragic journey by choosing drink, drugs or fast track their way to death by suicide!
It seems an inherent human trait to self-destruct and the only course open to us is love. What the human race needs is love.
Sadly, very few people find love - they may catch glimpses of it in the journey from the cradle to the grave, but in general it cannot be sustained. What is even sadder is the Christian scriptures plainly tell us that God is love, yet so many people choose not to follow them and therefore fail to experience any divine love.
Some folk who have purported to be Christians have done bad things and have been a bad witness, resulting in others turning away.
The tendency is to focus on the bad and not the good.
As Jesus said: "A tree is known by is fruits". In my opinion, the true measure of a person is their willingness to forgive.
