Grumpy old (and young) women
Apparently, so the news came today, women are grumpier than men in the mornings and stay in a bad mood for longer.
Anyone who has met my colleague Claire Dunn may think the survey had been conducted after seeing her at 7am on a Wednesday after being stuck in traffic.
It is, of course, because they get less sleep than us men (presumably because they have to be awake to steal the covers) and have more to do in the morning.
Cleaning, tidying, making sure there's something for tea etc.
I live alone, so this doesn't apply to me. Probably also explains why I'm such a miserable so and so.
It's funny how everyone has an opinion on a story like this.
It caused quite a stink among the women in our canteen, who were very grumpy about it (kinda proving the point, really).
I thought my sandwich tasted a bit odd.
