I have had enough of this abuse

I read with interest the feature in the Shropshire Star on the use of private toilet facilities. In the past I have allowed persons to use the facilities in my tea shop, charging 20p for those who ask and 30p for those who don't.

They are, of course, free to patrons of my tea shop. Nevertheless, I have become fed up with the abuse by visitors, albeit a minority, who are not prepared to pay or use the public toilets which are just 150 metres away.

On many occasions people have gone behind my property and urinated on the garden. On being challenged they have sworn at me.

No longer will I allow my facilities to be used.

I had to pay to have them built, to have them cleaned, for the toilet paper, the water, the electricity to heat the water, for lighting and to replace the items stolen.

And to top it all, I pay council tax and business rates for the council to provide public facilities.
