Common sense has flown nest
You have had some excellent letters in your newspaper of late. The one by AJ Willetts on the cause of war was dead to rights. I must say that a lot of religious leaders do talk a lot about many things without a shred of real proof on what they pontificate about.
Also, recently, there was the one about the cyclist in Telford being caught by a police officer riding his bike on the highway when there was an adjacent cycleway that he should have used instead.
What I am surprised about is that the police had the time to deal with the "crime".
But this seems to be the standard of our police these days. And I do not hold my breath that anything will be done about it.
Common sense appears to have flown the nest in all walks of life, from parliament, lawmakers, bishops etc, down.
