Reviewer was wrong and unfair
Your review of the Raven Hotel (Star Weekender, August 19) was inaccurate and borders on irresponsible. This is a local restaurant which specialises in serving local produce in a small Shropshire town and employs local people.
For your paper to only award this three stars and potentially harm their future business is both wrong and unfair.
Your reviewer, Sharon Walters, should formally retract her unnecessary comments about her dinner and choose instead to celebrate the fact that we are lucky to have such an authentic food experience in such an idyllic setting.
My wife and I only discovered the Raven recently but we think it is a gem. We enjoyed excellent food and great service. I only hope your readers judge it for themselves.
