Our boys need help in conflict
Re: Letter from J Lewis, Grinshill, on August 16. I live in Shawbury, one field away from the camp. Yes, the night flying can be a bit noisy at times, but I hope for your sake you never have a relative in the Army who has to go and serve in Iraq or Afghanistan as I have.

My grandson has already been to Iraq and no doubt will have to do his bit in other places of conflict.
It wouldn't be right if he found himself in a difficult situation out there at night and the helicopter pilot sat on his bum and said: "I can't go and rescue those boys because I'm not trained to fly at night because the locals needed their sleep".
Our boys need all the professional help they can get while risking their lives
