Barton boys chase romance in Emmerdale
The brothers are both looking at tricky relationships.
The Barton brothers are headed for a week of illicit passion in Emmerdale as they both chase after forbidden romances.
Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) is suffering guilt at having cheated on girlfriend Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) with her best friend Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade), but when an oblivious Leyla proposes to him, how will he react?
Cheating Pete turns to Priya again to discuss his guilt about the proposal and their affair, leading to an even more precarious situation when Nell Fairfax (Scarlett Archer) overhears them.
Meanwhile, Pete’s brother Ross (Michael Parr) could be about to fall for Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) again.
The pair have a tangled past – they began an affair when Debbie was engaged to Pete, ending in a wedding-day debacle which saw Ross hospitalised and Pete and Debbie annulling their marriage – but it seems that they are unable to put their thwarted romance behind them just yet.
As Debbie helps Ross to clean up his wounds, there is an obvious spark between the friends – but will they rekindle their romance?
