Archer's writer's new play
A play by the writer of the BBC's Archers will be performed in the county later this year.

No Finer Life will be showing at Talbot Theatre, Whitchurch and Theatre on the Steps, Bridgnorth.
Writer Graham Harvey, the man behind the scripts of more than 600 episodes of the Radio 4 soap opera, The Archers, has long harboured a fascination with the countryside and those who live and work in it.
Set in the Oxfordshire countryside following the Second World War, it tells the story of a Land Army girl who sought out a farmer and author of a bestselling book on sustainable farming during the war. The play moves between the 1940s and present day, and highlights the timeless importance of protecting the countryside.
Main character Elizabeth Henderson is portrayed by Rebecca Bailey, who has a host of previous theatre experience including performances in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The play is directed by James Le Lacheur, who trained at Oxford School of Drama and has appeared previously in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
The showings in Shropshire will run from March 1 to 3. Further details and tickets can be found on their website at https://www.nofinerlife.co.uk/tour-dates.
