Telford beauty salon plans wellness expansion
House of Beauty in Donnington is developing a recovery and wellness facility, with plans to introduce a range of treatments alongside its existing services
A Telford beauty salon is preparing to expand its services to include recovery and wellbeing treatments.

House of Beauty, on Wellington Road in Donnington, was founded in December 2023 by directors Ricky Jackson and Tanita Guthrie.
Originally offering beauty treatments, hair, nails, aesthetics and tanning, the business has since introduced counselling and therapy services, as well as blood testing.
It is now developing HOB Recharge, a recovery and wellness facility within its existing premises.
Planned facilities include hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light and infrared therapy, and compression boots.
Director Ricky Jackson said the business’s plans had developed beyond its original focus.
“Our vision has evolved from simply helping people look good to creating somewhere that helps people look good, feel good and look after themselves from the inside out,” he said.
Director Tanita Guthrie said the expansion reflected a wider approach to supporting people’s physical and mental wellbeing.
“Beauty has always been about helping people feel confident, but we've always believed there's more to feeling good than just how you look,” she said.
She added that the business had listened to clients and developed its services in response to their interests.
The directors also hope to work with local ambassadors from sporting, mental health and wellbeing backgrounds to raise awareness of recovery and wellbeing.
HOB Recharge is aiming for completion in November, ahead of House of Beauty marking its third anniversary in December.
The expansion is intended to broaden the range of health, beauty and wellbeing services available at the Donnington premises.
