A cordon is in place around a Tesco Express in Telford following reports of a burglary.
Police tape could be seen around the supermarket in Hadley over the weekend - with shattered glass scattered over the pavement beside the entrance.
Officers are investigating reports of a burglary on Saturday, October 24.
One local resident said: “We think there was a burglary overnight but don’t know much more than that. It was burgled a few weeks ago.”
She said the shop had been closed all day.
No police officers were remaining on the scene this afternoon but the entrance to the store was still sealed off with tape.
The shop was previously targeted shortly before midnight on September 3 - about a couple of months ago.
