Shrewsbury Town striker George Lloyd 'discharged from hospital' after neck injury
The club have issued a positive statement after the Shrewsbury striker was stretchered off on Saturday.
Shrewsbury Town have confirmed that striker George Lloyd has been discharged from hospital following the neck injury he sustained during their 3-3 draw at Rotherham United on Saturday.

Lloyd was stretchered off at the end of the first half, although manager Gavin Cowan revealed that the early indications on his conditions were ‘positive’.
The club have since issued an update, which stated that Lloyd has been given the ‘all-clear’.
The full statement read: “Shrewsbury Town can confirm George Lloyd has been discharged from hospital following the neck injury he sustained at Rotherham.
“George has been given the all-clear following further investigations and scans. The club would like to thank our head of medical Chris Skitt and all the medical staff involved in his care.”
Lloyd has scored four goals for Salop in League Two this term, scoring in each of the two games prior to the draw at Rotherham.
Josh Davison and Josh Ruffels cancelled out a quickfire double from Paul Mullin, before Will Boyle completed the turnaround to fire Shrewsbury into a 67th-minute lead.
Tom Bradshaw salvaged a point for Rotherham in a game which saw both team finish with 10-men following red cards for Millers defender Kian Spence and Shrews midfielder Kian McMahon-Brown.
