Stalker, 36, assaulted woman, shouted abuse and left unwanted Christmas gifts
Offender learned his fate at Telford Magistrates Court.
A stalker who assaulted a woman, shouted abuse at her and left unwanted Christmas presents at her home has been sentenced in court.
Michael Kensington, aged 36, assaulted the victim in Telford on November 1 last year.
He then harassed her between November 20 and December 3, shouting abuse at her as well as leaving unwanted gifts at her home.
Kensington, of Ladymoor Lane, Lightmoor, Telford, pleaded guilty at Telford Magistrates Court to assault by beating, stalking and breaching his bail conditions.
Magistrates made Kensington subject of a two-year conditional discharge, meaning he faces no further punishment unless he reoffends within that timeframe.
No orders for costs or compensation were made.
