Acquisition is confirmed
The parent company of Shropshire-based precision measurements firm Hexagon Metrology has sealed a deal to take over a German business.

Hexagon has acquired Q-DAS, an international software company in statistical process control solutions for industrial manufacturing.
It comes as Hexagon looks to expand its software portfolio in this area, and adds software to support the data management needs of a factory.
"Adding Q-DAS to the Hexagon family has many advantages," said Hexagon President and CEO Ola Rollén. "It adds growth opportunities for our business."
