Occupier is sought for Telford scrap yard
An established scrap metal and waste transfer yard in Telford has been made available to rent.
The site, which fronts Whitchurch Drive near Junction 6 of the M54 in Ketley, extends to approximately 0.93 acres and has planning consent for its present waste transfer site use and a waste management licence/environmental permit is provided, allowing handling of waste metal on site and de-pollution of vehicles.
Richard Bradbury, of Bradbury Commercial which is handling the deal, said: "Waste transfer yards such as this rarely become available in the area and the extremely prominent nature of this site and easily accessible position is likely to be of interest to a variety of waste transfer operators."
The recycling business has been operated from the site for many years and is now available due to retirement.
Bradbury Commercial is offering a new sub-lease on the property at a rent of £30,000 a year.
A variety of fixtures and fittings may be available by separate negotiation.
