Bosses of The Inn at Grinshill, near Wem have admitted 'financial trading difficulties'.

It is run by husband and wife team, Kevin and Victoria Brazier, who have recently celebrated 10 years in charge of the business.

They say the move won't mean changes for staff or customers, and the threat of closure is 'not an issue'.

Head chef Chris Conde has appeared on BBC's Masterchef the Professionals and, along with the team, has secured the business two AA Rosettes and two Knives and Forks in the Michelin Guide.

A statement on behalf of the couple said: "All future customers can be assured that Grinshill Inn Ltd will be honouring all bookings. We very much appreciate the overwhelming majority of our suppliers have been genuinely understanding in the circumstances."
