Start Technology, which is based in Bridgnorth and earlier this year opened new offices in Shrewsbury's Battlefield Enterprise Park, has landed the contract with Energize Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

The sports partnership, which encourages physical activity to be part of everybody's life in the county, has recently moved onto the Battlefield Business Park, near Start's new offices.

Chris Walker, a technician with the technology company, said: "We were approached by Energize to configure and install a small business server and network all PCs, laptops and printers in their new headquarters.

"The work was undertaken to ensure that on the day they moved in all systems would be automatically configured and there would be minimal disruption.

"While the office move was in progress we provided assistance such as transferring all files and outlook data, including emails and contacts, and our team was on hand to answer any questions and provide mobile

phone support."

Chris Child, chief executive of Energize, added: "As a partnership reliant on effective and efficient communication – usually through IT – our move and transfer of systems was a little daunting.

"However, Start Technology made everything feel very easy from the beginning. We were up and running using the new system and emails by 10.30am on the day we moved so none of our customers even noticed the change."
