Danny Rose: 'Massive buzz' playing in front of Telford Tigers fans
Tigers' Danny Rose is relishing the "buzz" of playing in front of near-capacity crowds at Telford Ice Rink.
The EPL leaders were watched by more than 800 fans last Sunday, as they established a three-point advantage over second-placed Milton Keynes.
Defenceman Rose, who has been with the club since 2012, is now a firm part of head coach Tom Watkins' plans.
And he said the Tigers players are reaping the benefits of increased crowds at the Southwater venue.
He said: "It is a massive buzz for all the guys. They sit in the dressing room before the game, and can hear the chanting outside. Everyone then wants to go out and do the fans proud.
"I enjoy it when the fans really get behind you, like they did for us against Milton Keynes last weekend. When it's silent during a game, it can be hard to get going. But with the drums and a lot of noise, it really helps you to get going straight away. That sort of thing can be very important."
