Wolves' Nouha Dicko signs new Molineux deal
Wolves striker Nouha Dicko has ended speculation about his future by signing a new three-year contract.
The 23-year-old had been linked with Everton and had just 12 months left on his existing deal.
Dicko formed a prolific partnership with Benik Afobe at the end of last season and has consistently been in the goals since being signed from Wigan for just £300,000 in January 2014.
Head coach Kenny Jackett expressed his delight at Dicko's new contract.
He said: "I'm really pleased. It's been a really productive summer in terms of talking to Nouha about his future.
"Him being able to commit his future to us is very good from his point of view and from the club's.
"Going into a new season with a centre forward signing a new contract shows good commitment."
The striker said it was an easy decision to pen a new deal.
He said: "I'm really happy to have this contract extension. I feel good at Wolves and I'm really happy here so I'm delighted that I'll be staying.
"My teammates, the head coach and everybody at the club have been really good with me, that helped me to settle and to show what I can do.
"For any players the fans are really important as well. When you go to any stadium it's always better to play with a good crowd.
"At Wolves the crowd is fantastic, last season it was the best in the Championship so it's been a joy to play for the fans."
