Kenny Jackett sets Wolves play-off target
Boss Kenny Jackett has set Wolves a 30-point target to reach the Championship play-offs.
Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Norwich left Wolves five points off the top six in eighth place with 15 games left.
Molineux head coach Jackett believes his side can make the play-offs and has set them an ambitious target of two points a game to gatecrash the end-of-season showpiece.
"Going forward now, we have 15 games left," said the boss.
"I would think we'll need 30 points from those 45 available.
"That will take us up to 78 and, traditionally, that can get you up and into the top six."
In the last 10 years, the average minimum number of points to get into the Championship play-offs is 73.
Leicester's total of 68 in 2012-13 was the lowest and the highest is 75, achieved on four occasions.
"Thirty points from our last 15 games is a realistic target for us to attack to get into the top six," added Jackett.
Wolves looked tired, lethargic and lacking in ideas on Saturday.
Barring replacing Matt Doherty with Dominic Iorfa at right-back because of illness, Jackett named an unchanged side from Tuesday's 4-1 win at Huddersfield for their third game in eight days.
Jackett replaced Nouha Dicko with Dave Edwards at half-time in a tactical switch but he admitted it didn't work.
"It was a tactical change. I felt Alex Tettey was very influential and was pulling the strings for them," he said.
"I decided to try to get Benik Afobe up there and in and amongst the centre halves.
"Perhaps I should have changed a few but it's tough when you've just won 4-1 and there's that temptation to let the boys keep playing."
