Former Shrewsbury Town midfielder Dave Edwards has launched his Wolves comeback after a nightmare six months on the sidelines.
Edwards had been ruled out with a back injury since February but played 78 minutes of Wolves reserves' 1-1 draw with Newcastle at AFC Telford's New Bucks Head last night.
Wolves had led with a James Spray goal on nine minutes, only for Samuel Ameobi to draw the Magpies level midway through the first period.
The game was marred by a second half red card for Wolves' Ethan Ebanks-Landell following a challenge on Newcastle's Jeffrey Henderson – who left the pitch on a stretcher in the second half.
