Wolves have no plans to sell Sylvan Ebanks-Blake or have seen any interest in Stefan Maierhofer, despite speculation to the contrary on both strikers.

Ebanks-Blake has been linked with moves to Southampton and now Leicester over the last few days.

But the idea of the departure of the 25-year-old is a non-starter as Wolves wouldn't consider selling the former double Championship Golden Boot winner.

Despite internet rumours of a £3.5m bid from the Saints, Wolves haven't heard a thing and nor would they welcome any interest.

And club officials don't want to give credibility to the rumours by commenting on them.

The only way Wolves would consider selling was if a player they wanted to keep was desperate to leave – but even then they would have to have a replacement of at least equal quality lined up.
