Shrewsbury Town boss Matt Taylor looking to bolster forward line
Boss Matt Taylor is targeting additions in attack as he continues to build his Shrewsbury Town squad.
Defender Joe Anderson and midfielder Taylor Perry this week became the latest additions and strengthening options in the final third is now the focus for new head coach Taylor and director of football Micky Moore.
Ryan Bowman has impressed in pre-season, while Aiden O’Brien came through 90 minutes for the first time in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Stourbridge.
Asked about the chances of more additions in the coming days, Taylor said: “We’re hopeful (of getting more in). We want players at the top end of the pitch. We did a Q&A with the fans on Sunday and we made it quite clear we are looking at that area.
