The Bucks cruised to victory against National League North's bottom side, with John Marsden, Amari Morgan-Smith and Marcus Dinanga getting the goals.

It was their first league victory since beating Tamworth 2-0 on November 21.

"I'm pleased with the lads. I thought their work rate - all 14 of them involved - was excellent," said Edwards.

"Their attitude was really good. They did the basics well and the only frustrating thing was that we didn't score more goals. We created a lot.

"I'm not moaning, though. It's a 3-0 win, really pleased."

Marsden opened the scoring with a superb curling effort. In the second half, debutant Morgan-Smith put away a penalty and Dinanga wrapped things up with a sweet strike.

"Every goal is fantastic for us, but there was two really good goals - well-worked, good finishes that nobody could have done anything about," said Edwards.

"I'm really pleased to have got a clean sheet, a win, a few goals - but it is just one game. We've got to keep that momentum going."

Despite the win, Telford remain second from bottom. They host Curzon Ashton - who are two places and one point better off - on Tuesday night (kick-off 7.45pm).

"We are where we are at the moment, we've had a tough run of games and a lot called off," added Edwards.

"The lads showed in their performance there was no fear. They were on the front foot working really hard for each other - from minute one."
