Andy Sinton is aiming to build on late AFC Telford goal
AFC?Telford boss Andy Sinton is hoping his side's last-gasp leveller against Nuneaton Town will have struck a psychological blow ahead of tonight's FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay.
Ryan Valentine's equaliser, four minutes into stoppage time, was Telford's third added-time strike against Boro in the last five games between the sides.
And Sinton felt the latest had parallels with Phil Trainer's crucial goal three minutes into stoppage time in the Blue Square Bet North play-off semi-final first leg against the same opponent in May last year.
On that occasion, the Bucks snatched a 1-1 draw and went on to win the replay 2-1 on their way to promotion.
But the Bucks chief added his team will need to perform better than they did in the weekend's 2-2 draw if they are to progress.
"On Saturday, we were nearly out, we're back in. It was reminiscent of two years ago when we were 1-0 down in the first play-off game," he said.
"Phil Trainer scores, they come off the pitch really deflated as if they had lost the game.
"Whether that happens again I don't know but we have got to find something tonight."
