The Worcestershire club have a renowned opening pair in Ashley Newfield and Jayden Levitt, who has scored 248 runs in the first two matches.

But Collins is hoping his bowlers can keep the duo in check as Shifnal look to bounce back from defeat at Moseley.

"We know what their gameplan will be from playing them when we were in Division One a few years ago," said Collins.

"They are very dangerous players and then they have the Worcestershire batsman (Alexei) Kervezee to come in behind them.

"We have got a gameplan for them so hopefully we can snaffle them out quickly and it will stand us in good stead."

Bromsgrove may be setting the early pace but Collins warned against looking too closely at the league table.

"They've started very well but I think it's too early to tell who will be the main challengers," he added.

"In the 50-over game anyone can beat anybody and I wouldn't be surprised if the table changed around a bit over the first six games (where there is the win/loss format)."

Shifnal are without Charlie Home, who has a Wrekin College fixture, so Anthony Parker will come in.
