Telford’s Liam Davies is looking to have the last laugh when he takes on Jason Cunningham in his home town

British, European and WBC International super-bantamweight king Davies faces off with WBO International champion Cunningham on July 29 at the Telford International Centre, with all four straps up for grabs.

Davies, who fights out of Donnington Boxing Club, has an undefeated 13-0 record and is ready to put some of the bad blood with Cunningham to rest with a victory.

He said: “I always want more. I’m pushing. I’m putting as much work in as I can, like I have nothing still, and I’ll reap the rewards.

“My plan is to get in there, do a quick job on him, and then fight again quicker than I have in the last couple of fights, which have had longer turnarounds.

“It’s not really about selling the fight because I don’t do it for anyone else, I do it for myself.
