Shropshire bowls duo reach the last 32
Two Shropshire bowlers were today closing in on glory in the Osprey Autumn Waterloo championship.

County Merit winner Callum Wraight and St Georges captain Glyn Picknell powered through to the last 32 with two wins at the famous Blackpool venue yesterday.
Castlefields star Wraight beat Shaun Morrey (Crewe) 21-17 and Bolton's Matt Gillies 21-12, while Picknell's scalps were Phil Boydell (Leigh) 21-15 and Nick Brooks (Rochdale) to 14.
The reward for 2009 All England champion Wraight was a showdown today against against Steve Copeland (Chadderton) while Picknell was taking on Dave McDermott (Wirral) – both hoping to reach tomorrow's finals day.
