Phantoms beat Telford Tigers by odd goal in 13

A quick two-goal burst in 30 seconds saw Telford Tigers defeated by the odd goal in 13 at home to Peterborough Phantoms.

Both teams traded six goals in the opening 20 minutes with Luke Ferrara putting the visitors ahead after less than two minutes last night.

Callum Bowley drew the Tigers level four minutes later but Phantoms' Lewis Hook, restored his side's lead in the ninth minute.

Three goals in a minute followed as Tigers drew level through Tim Burrows and then took the lead through Scott McKenzie.

Former Tiger Tom Carlon levelled 16 seconds later to send the teams in level at the break.

Juraj Senko scored early in the second period but Hook netted his second of the night soon afterwards.

Tomas Janak yet again restored the Tigers' lead but Ferrara made it 5-5 going into the final 20 minutes of the game.

Luke Brittle scored his first of the game after 45 minutes to give the Tigers a 6-5 lead, but late strikes from Phantoms Captain Jeff Glowa and Maris Ziedins won it for Phantoms.
