Burway in spotlight
Burway Bowls Club's centenary celebrations look set to go with an even bigger bang - after being nominated to host the British Junior Merit finals this year.

The Ludlow club marks its 100th birthday this year, and has been chosen by a special panel set up by the Shropshire Crown Green Bowling Association to host the prestigious event on Saturday, August 21.
The decision is subject to ratification by the British governing body, who also asked for a reserve choice to be nominated.
The Sir John Bayley Club's big green in Telford has been put forward as that choice and could step in if Burway is not rubber-stamped.
