At home, on Sir John Bayley's top green, Shropshire produced a clean sweep of the middle led by Doris Nuttall's 21-9 to secure a 46 shot success that led to scenes of delight all round the venue.
Elated Shropshire Ladies secretary Angela Gaut said: "It was a superb result - and we are really up there with the big guns now."
