New champion feels at home

Jonathan Devereux made home advantage count to claim the Shropshire & Herefordshire amateur golf championship.

Devereux carded rounds of 69 and 68 over The Herefordshire course where he is a member to post a 137 total.

That left him two shots clear of Patshull Park's Tim Roberts, with Matthew Harrison, of Burghill Valley, back in third.
