Shrewsbury Town notched a 2-0 pre-season home win against Blackpool at the Prostar Stadium on Friday night.

Dave Hibbert and Ben Davies got the second half goals which ensured manager Paul Simpson's men grabbed a confidence-boosting win as they prepare for the new League Two season.

Simpson made six changes to the 11 who began the 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday.
