More consultation on Shrewsbury 750-home plan
The length of a public consultation on controversial plans for 750 homes in Shrewsbury has more than doubled, after an online petition was set up by residents.

Shropshire Council said they had taken the decision to extend the consultation period on the new development at Welshpool Road, in Bicton Heath, Shrewsbury, following feedback from residents.
More than 65 residents from an action group set up a petition which claims local people had not been "adequately notified".
The consultation, which began on July 4 and was to run for four weeks, will now be extended until September 6.
