Shropshire rightly has an image of being a rural landscape, but in times past significant parts of that rural landscape were industrialised. The postcard, from the collection of Ray Farlow, was produced by Park of Newtown, and although it is undated it is likely to be from Edwardian days when Park was particularly prolific.
