The new RC features a range of updates

Lexus has revealed a series of updates for its RC coupe ahead of the facelifted car’s full reveal at the Paris Motor Show in October.

The exterior boasts a range of changes, including a new front bumper corner, LED clearance lamps and additional air ducts at the rear of the car. In addition, the car’s stance is now wider, while there are now eleven new different exterior colours to choose from.

The interior of the RC has been refined too. The heater controls and audio panels are now finished in a brushed metal effect, and a new analogue clock has been fitted to the centre of the cabin. Mirroring the exterior of the car, the interior is available with a variety of new colour combinations.

Engineers have also enhanced the RC’s dynamics. A new fin shape in the side window mouldings and a revised duct in the rear give the car better high-speed stability, while new shock absorbers and stiffer suspension bushings have been fitted to improve cornering response without forsaking ride quality.

In addition, 19-inch alloy wheels are now fitted to the RC, along with high-performance tyres to further enhance the car’s cornering abilities.

Full pricing for the updated RC have yet to be announced, though full details surrounding the car are likely to be revealed following the car’s official reveal at the Paris Motor Show on October 2.
