Toyota expands GT86 Club Series range with Blue Edition
Japanese sports car receives a new, Blue addition to ongoing special-version Club Series range

It may have been around for seemingly forever now, but there’s no end in sight just yet for the Toyota GT86, thanks to the addition of another special version to the range.
Introducing the GT86 Blue Edition – which is, you guessed it, very blue. It follows on from the Orange Edition (yes, finished in orange) in the ongoing Club Series line of limited-run models.

There’s no extra power on offer though, with the 2.0-litre four-cylinder boxer engine still producing 197bhp and 205Nm of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels via the choice of a manual or automatic gearbox – both six-speed. That means the 0-60mph sprint remains at 7.5 seconds if you go for the three-pedal choice, with a 140mph top speed possible.

A limited-slip differential is included as standard, along with creature comforts such as cruise control, LED and dusk-sensing headlights, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and Toyota’s Touch 2 infotainment system.
Prices for the Toyota GT86 Club Series Blue Edition start at £29,980, with the car going on sale tomorrow.
