Recently we bought you the quickest depreciating cars of 2007, with the unfortunate Maybach losing the equivalent value of a self-contained flat.
But which cars hold their value best? Small cars are certainly the stars in Parker Car Guides' slowest depreciating cars of 2007 - and if you've been smart enough to invest in one of these, your bank manager will be smiling in 2008!
In 10th place is Hyundai's nippy little Amica (2006 models onwards), with a loss of just £2,423.nextpage
The Proton Satria Neo (2007 onwards) comes in at number nine, having lost £2,373.nextpage
Small but perfectly formed, the Toyota Aygo (2005 onwards) has lost just £2,264.nextpage
Peugeot's sleek 107 model (2005 onwards) is in seventh place, losing only £2,206.nextpage
The Suzuki Swift Hatchback (2005 onwards) comes in sixth, losing £2,174.nextpage
In fifth place is Perodua's Myvi (2006 onwards), showing a potential loss of only £2,147.nextpage
Citroen's smart C1 model (2005 onwards) has lost just £2,138.nextpage
Another saving from Perodua - the boxy Kelisa (2002 onwards) loses £2,067.nextpage
Its high build quality puts the Honda Jazz (2002 onwards) in second place, with a loss of £2,017.
But with its impressive fuel-saving technologies, good looks and driver comfort, the iconic MINI Hatchback (2006 onwards) claims the top spot, losing a tiny £1,388 a year. It's a far cry from the Maybach's £77,651 drop in value - and a very smart investment indeed.
