Emergency crews called after car hits lamppost near Newport
Firefighters had to be called after a car hit a lamppost in Newport.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said crews were called to the A518 Pitchcroft roundabout near the town at 9.52pm on Monday following a report of a road traffic collision.
A fire crew from Newport discovered a saloon vehicle had hit a lamp post near the roundabout.
There were no reports of serious injury and the crews made the vehicle safe.
