The pair were driving along Lincoln Hill when their car left the road and got stuck on a slope.

The two of them were trapped inside the car because of the position of the vehicle.

Two fire crews were sent from Telford Central to help free them.

They used airbags, a winch, chocks, blocks and v-struts to stabilise the vehicle and release the occupants.

They were sent to the area at about 8.50am and the pair were rescued by 9.30am.
