Casualty treated by ambulance crew after Broseley kitchen fire

One person had to be treated by paramedics after a kitchen fire in Broseley.

Emergency services were called to Dovehouse Court just after 1pm on Friday.

Three fire crews from Telford Central and Tweedale were to the scene, along with West Midlands Ambulance.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire involved a stove in a house.

It was extinguished by firefighters using water from the kitchen and under control within half an hour.

"A casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service," a spokesperson said.
