Telford fire crews deal with blaze involving derelict building

Fire crews were called out to a blaze involving a derelict property early this morning.

The incident took place at Redhill in Telford, at around 4.07am.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said two crews, including the aerial ladder platform, attended from Telford Central and Wellington.

The blaze started early this morning

Police have also attended the incident, while the fire crews used jets to put the blaze out.

It comes after Church Stretton's fire service was sent to deal with a shed fire at Smethcott at around 7.52pm yesterday.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the incident had involved a shed which was eight feet by six feet, with the crew using two jets to put the fire out.
