Telford firefighters called to help cat stuck in a chair
It was an unusual start to 2023 for one fire crew who were called out to help free a cat trapped in a reclining chair.
Firefighters from Telford Central Fire Station were called to Boulton Grange in Telford at around 2.15am on Sunday.
The caller reported that a cat had got stuck in the mechanism of a reclining chair.
An update from the service said that the crew used hydraulic cutting equipment to get the animal out.
