The woman driving the blue Ford Focus and a male customer at the Fallow Field Pub in Hadley Park East were treated for minor injuries after the crash at a bit after 8.20pm on Sunday.

The car crashed through fencing on a grass verge before coming to a stop by one of the pub’s entrances.

Two fire crews from Telford and Wellington were sent to help make the car and pub safe after the crash.

The area was clear by 8.50pm.

The scene of the incident

Jamie Arrowsmith, of West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: “One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the crash.

“We treated two patients. One was the female driver of the car and a male customer. They were assessed and discharged at the scene with minor injuries.”

It is the latest crash to happen near the pub.

There have been a number of crashes in the area around the A4442 and Hadley Park roundabout over the last few years.

As far back as 2015, campaigners were calling for barriers to be built to protect the pub in the case of a crash.
