Hadley and District Orpheus Male Voice Choir is holding a "come and sing" event at the Castle Farm Community Centre, Hadley, from 3pm to about 6.30pm.

"It's an afternoon of singing and friendship, and there's no obligation to join the choir," said musical director Robyn Davies.

"It's an opportunity to see what it's like to sing with a choir - something a lot of people have never experienced."

Refreshments will be provided.

Then, on Saturday, April 21, the choir will be in action at Hadley Methodist Church in a St Georges Day concert starting at 7pm, together with the Flutella Flute Quartet, a group of flautists led by Jenny Burgess.

The concert will round off with a selection of patriotic music.
