Timid Millie goes missing in Wrekin search for fellow dog

The inspirational community effort to help locate Teddy the cockerpoo last week had a sad outcome for another family.

Millie the long-legged Jack Russell has been described as 'very timid'

Paul Rushworth, of Shrewsbury, was one of dozens of Salopians to join in searching for the missing dog on the Wrekin.

He took Millie, who he described as a 'very timid rescue dog' up the hill on December 29, and she ran off when spooked.

Millie is a mostly-white long-legged Jack Russell with black ears and a black patch on her back. She is microchipped but has no collar.

A Facebook group that was set up to find Teddy has now been renamed to 'Help find Milly the Jack Russell', and many of the same people who toiled in the cold last week have been out again searching the Wrekin for Millie.
