Police called in drama outside Shropshire Star's Telford offices
Police were called following an altercation outside the Shropshire Star's head office in Telford today in which a car was driven over gardens in front of the building.
It happened in Waterloo Road, Ketley, at about 3pm.
Witnesses saw two men "squaring up" to one another, surrounded by bystanders.
Sundeep Sehijpal, director of Star Public Relations, said he heard commotion from his office in the building.
He said: "I saw two men squaring up to each other. It looked like they were about to have a fight. They were surrounded by bystanders.
"That lasted 10 to 15 seconds.
"The pair of them turned and walked away.
"One of them got into a car and drove across the grass and the second individual chased after him for a brief period.
"I was filming the incident for evidence to give to the police in case anything happened."
Another witness, who did not want to be named, saw a green car being driven across the grass outside the Shropshire Star offices.
She said: "I thought it was going to come into the building.
"It went screeching around the corner. They were driving like mad really."
