Man caught drink driving on quad bike in Shrewsbury gets suspended jail term

A man who was caught drink driving on a quad bike has been handed a suspended jail sentence.

Phillip Blent, aged 35, was caught driving the Kymco MXU quad bike on a road in Upton Magna, Shrewsbury, on June 13 last year.

A test found he had 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit in England and Wales is 35mcg.
