Shrewsbury's Market Hall has this morning pointed to a fresh addition to its premises – a black and white stencil-style chimp, which has appeared on its walls.

The chimp, wearing a hoodie and three-stripe Adidas-style trainers, is the second similar piece to have appeared on the Market Hall in recent weeks.

At the start of the month a piece showing a little girl crouching down, dressed in a hoodie with Nike trainers, appeared on the entrance to Blacks, near the market hall – although it was hastily removed from the building.

On that occasion seven-year-old art fan Beatrice Day and her mum Sandra Smith said they had worked out that the piece had come from the elusive Birmingham-based artist Disney b.32 – also believed to be responsible for a piece which appeared on Shrewsbury's BT building last year.
