Man, 22, charged with robbery at Shrewsbury Co-op store

A man has been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article following an incident at a Co-op shop in Shrewsbury.

Charlie Beddows, 22, of Poynton Drive, Shrewsbury, has been charged in relation to an alleged robbery that took place at the Mid Counties Co-operative shop on Mount Pleasant Road in Shrewsbury on Monday March 6.

Beddows is set to appear in court tomorrow.
